How to Choose the Right Swimwear
Swimwear shopping is not easy and might bring you headache. Since you have to expose your body, it’s sometimes annoying to select the perfect one for body types: with small or large chests, wide shoulders, flat or big butts, and with love handles. Though there are so many different types of swimwear such as one-piece, bikinis, cut-out, high waist and more, you are not sure which one will be good for your body shape.
Unless you’re a Victoria’s Secret model, everyone has a different body shape and would love to hide some parts that you don’t like while you want to show off your confident part.
Don’t be afraid and plan your trip to the beach. Here we are helping you choose the right swimwear by body shapes.
Small Bust
If you are concerned about your smaller chest, try to wear a bikini top with embellishments or ruffles. It will make some volume on your chest. Besides, a swimwear with dot-printed or diagonal lines gives the illusion that makes your chest bigger. Padded or underwired top is an alternative way to help you make bigger bust. Avoid solid color tops and go for printed or patterned bright colors.

Large Bust
For women with huge chest, skip string bikinis and triangle tops. Those are not your good friends. Pick a bathing suit with underwire. It will support and lift your chest so your bust won’t be all over the place when you come out of the water. High necklines or halter neck tops with wide bands or double strips offer plenty of support as well.

Wide Shoulder
The key for wide shoulder women is to give a balance out your shoulders. A swimwear with asymmetric neckline design or one shoulder with ruffle will help balance out your body. Opt for a halter neck or classic swimwear that gives attention to the neck rather than shoulders. A solid color swimwear with printed panels or monokini with cut outs on the sides will make an hourglass figure that help evening out your wide upper body.

Flat Butt
If you have flat hips and a small booty, go for a bottom with ruffles. Same rule for the people with small chests. It’ll make you look cute and feminine as well as bring the illusion of a bigger apple hips. Think opposite way of choosing clothes to look skinny. While black gives slim effect, white does opposite and is good to make your frame look bigger and wider. Moreover, horizontal stripes also make your body look larger while vertical stripes make you look thinner. Eye-catching details such as bright colors or specular patterns will confuse the eye.

Tummy and Love Handles
It’s not easy to make flat abs. If you have muffin tops and try to camouflage your tummy, don’t worry. Here are some solutions. High-waisted bottoms are still in trend and a perfect suit to cover your belly. You don’t have to shy about showing off your abs if you are not ready for it. Color blocking panels and tummy ruching lines create a slimmer look. Corset-like details also make your tummy looking smaller. If you are still worry about your big tummy, try tankini and rash guard. Wearing cute or sexy cover-ups is a wise solution too.
