New York Fashion Week: Day 1
BCBGMAXAZRIA
This morning around 10am, BCBG MaxArzia kicked off New York Fashion Week S/S 16 collection at Skylight at Moynihan Station. Husband-wife duo Lubov and Max Azria brought the show to West Coast. The designers lead guests to South California vibes of the beach, the sun, and the good weather. The collection had full of bohemian line including tribal prints, patchwork fabrics, embroideries, hipster bucket hats, layering with tie-dyed knits and sweaters, fringed bags and moccasin inspired fringed shoes. Honestly, I had thought that leg warmers and bucket hats are old-fashioned items that I would donate or never pulled out from my closet. After the show, BCBG Max Azria totally changed my mind that I would love to wear the bucket hat for the next spring. It reminded me of one sunshine day at the beach in California and dreaming of a vacation to west coast.
Creatures of The Wind

Today’s show is about the meanings of symbology and familiarity, and a focus on suggesting common themes or recognizable forms according to the designers.
