Time to Feed Your Skin & Hair
Swimming and tanning by the sea or poolside sound exciting. However, the summer season sun is very strong and makes your skin & hair dry. Long time skin exposure in the sun may cause sunburnt. Besides, salt-water droplets on the skin dehydrate and damage your scalp and hair. To rescue your dry or sunburnt skin & hair, our team reveals simple after-sun care tips.
SKIN
After you get sunburnt, the fastest way to soothe is taking a cold shower. It will remove all salt and sand from your skin and deliver immediate cooling effect. Put skin-soothing moisturizing gel lotion on the tanned skin. Aloe and cucumber are perfect ingredients for the soothing. Put aloe soothing gel or sliced cucumbers on your face and skin. Hydrate your dry skin twice a day (morning and evening) with a moisturizing lotion or gel and cover it with a sunscreen.
If you ignore importance of sunscreen, you will regret later with fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots.
Good hydration is the key. Don’t forget to drink enough water. 8 glasses of water a day is recommended. Rather than a good skin product, the best remedy is water.

HAIR
Not only your skin, the salt water and sun can damage your hair, get dry and cause split-ends. The hair becomes dull, tangled, and hard to brush out. If you have color in your hair, it causes color fading very fast. To protect your hair from sun, wash your hair with a pre-shampoo conditioning treatment. Apply UV protectant spray or leave in conditioner. When you take a shower at home, try to apply treatment masque for 5-10 minutes. Your scalp might get itchy or sensitive due to the sun exposure. Use a SPF contained hair cream over the head and scalp treatment products. One simple following tip is using coconut oil or avocado oil. Put small amount of the oil on your hand and rub the ends of your hair before going to bed. Rinse your hair next morning and it will make your hair soft, shiny and tamed.
